Integrated Drilling Services (IDS)

The primary IDS objective is to streamline service delivery across project operations through single-source management and collaborative advisory support, which in turn increases efficiency, reduces NPT, and lowers costs. Integrated Drilling Services (IDS) is the name given to several services grouped together under a single contract. For the project owner, integration means smoother, more efficient operations by bringing service companies on board as part of the team.

The D5 Energy Services IDS Project Manager is a fully functional member of the customer’s project team, functioning as the conduit for technical integration. By providing a methodology for technology
adaptation, IDS optimizes the execution of projects according to plan. Because IDS accesses D5 Energy Services’ services and projects worldwide, along with those of selected third parties, availability and capabilities are ensured for the full scope that may be required during operations.

IDS can be as diverse as location construction, personnel mobilization, onsite survey execution, site inspections, and scheduling equipment maintenance. IDS provides services to customers who elect to use D5 Energy Services and its third party products and services for all or the majority of the performance of their well operations.

The D5 Energy Services IDS Project Management team integrates the entire scope of the project to bring efficiencies, reduce nonproductive time (NPT), and lower costs. The services being offered covers Well Construction and Well Management phase and includes Drilling Rig, Air/Foam/Aerated Fluids Drilling Services, Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, Drilling Fluids, Cementing, Mud Logging, Bits/Coring, Completion Services, Slickline, and Wireline Logging Services.

Activities managed under the IDS scheme can also include, but are not limited to:

Drilling programs provided by Operator will be checked, discussed and confirmed by the IDS Management team, ensuring to put highest priority on the Operator’s economics and efficiency for the operations.
